Formation flight commemorates anniversaries

The U.S. Air Force's 79th Fighter Squadron and 20th Fighter Wing flagship F-16CM Fighting Falcons fly as part of a four-ship formation July 21, 2017, over South Carolina. The flight commemorated the 100th anniversary of the 55th FS, which was activated Aug. 9, 1917, as the 55th Aero Squadron, Kelly Field, Texas.
