SHAW AIR FORCE BASE, S.C. -- Maj. Gen. Chad Franks, Task Force-Southeast commander, and Chief Master Sgt. Benjamin Hedden, TF-SE command chief, visited the new TF-SE Joint Operations Center both right before and after TF-SE members moved into the location.
The JOC is used for current and future planning operations to provide defense support of civil authorities in FEMA Regions III and IV on behalf of the DoD’s COVID-19 response. U.S. Northern Command, through U.S. Army North, is providing military support to the Federal Emergency Management Agency to help communities in need.
