SHAW AIR FORCE BASE, S.C. -- Members of Headquarters Ninth Air Force participated in a Resilience Tactical Pause Sept. 3.
The Air Force Chief of Staff directed the pause to address resilience within units given the loss of 80 Airmen in 2019 to suicide, 30 more than last year.
Ninth AF broke into small groups to discuss the problem in smaller forums and provide potential steps to address suicide and resilience as a whole.
