Moody, community firefighters train for night fire ops

Team Moody and the Valdosta Fire Department joined forces Nov. 8 to train for the possibility of nighttime aircraft fire operations.

This annual training requirement for Moody firefighters is one of the ways they stay ready to protect people, property, and the environment from fires and disasters.

In addition to combatting fires outside the prop aircraft, firefighters had to enter and combat the fires inside.
