F-22 Raptors with the 1st Fighter Wing from Joint Base Langley-Eustis, Virginia, completed a flying training deployment Oct. 19.

While in the European theater, the F-22s forward deployed from the United Kingtom to Poland and Germany to maximize training opportunities, demonstrating steadfast commitment to NATO allies and deterring any actions that destabilize regional security.

The Raptors also participated in Exercise Eastern Zephyr, a Royal Air Force-led exercise seeking to increase partnerships and capabilities between the U.S. and U.K. While here, the F-22s flew 18 sorties for a total of 26.2 flying hours.
