The 633rd Force Support Squadron Food Service Operation is the 2017 Air Combat Command nominee for the prestigious John L. Hennessy Award.

The Hennessy evaluation team arrives Feb. 5 and will spend two days evaluating the full scope of the food service operation.

The Hennessy Trophy Awards Program has three essential purposes.

The first is to promote excellence in customer service and meal quality throughout the service by recognizing outstanding dining facility operations and management. The second is to inspire high morale, motivation, mission support, and a professional image through pride and spirited competition. The third is to improve management concepts and practices.

The John L. Hennessy trophy is an annual award presented to the best food service program in the U.S. Air Force. The award is based on the entire scope of an installation's food service program exhibiting excellence in management effectiveness, force readiness support, food quality, employee and customer relations, resource conservation, training and safety awareness.
