Support through explosive action

A hung flare from an F-15E Strike Eagle aircraft was disposed of by members of the 4th Civil Engineer Squadron explosive ordnance disposal team, Nov. 9, 2016, at Seymour Johnson Air Force Base, North Carolina. A flare, when not fully ignited, presents a hazard when not properly handled; EOD safely removes the hazard from the aircraft so it can return to a fully mission- capable status.
